Here is a photo taken last year of some of the Sparhanger Pony Club members
Well wasn’t it lovely to have some sun even if only for a little while. Hope you are all enjoying the riding rallies.
It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Johnny Kingdom night at Parracombe School. Well Done to Chloe Jenkins who welcomed Johnny to Sparhanger Pony Club and for achieving her public speaking badge and also well done to all the members who passed their Wildlife Badges and produced so many lovely booklets about wildlife on Exmoor. We are very proud of all of you.
Michelle is running a Riding and Road Safety Exam on the 29th July for anyone over the age of 12 years. You do not have to be a pony club member to take the exam. The exam itself costs £34 and there are 4 training sessions before which are £5 a time (price for PC members only). If you would like to book a place for the exam please ring Michelle.
On the 19th August Edward Stone is organising a sponsored ride in aid of the air ambulance. The ride will start and finish at Sparhanger. Why not stay on after the ride for a bar-b-q and game of rounders (weather permitting). The ride is open to non pc members. More details to follow. Please book ponies with Michelle.
If you have any photos or results from any shows you have taken part in please could you email them to me and I will send them on to the Sparhanger blog.
Well Done to the following who have taken part in some of the local shows this year.
