We started this blog with reports of a wedding and unbelievably Chris and Michelle’s first anniversary has passed and it’s time to finish our on-line diary.
We have had an unexpectedly large following , just under 15,000 hits in 12 months, thank you all for sharing in the many joys and the occasional heartache of one place on Exmoor.
Lots of new friends have been made and a few old ones lost as nature inevitably takes it’s course.
Sparhanger goes from strength to strength, what better place to keep a horse at livery or from which to ride out in a small escorted group. Here for the last time are the contact numbers.

The diversity of the Exmoor terrain and it’s varied wildlife makes for ideal riding and walking. From year round sightings of red deer and Exmoor ponies, to the mewing buzzards in Spring, from the occasional sightings of red kite in Winter and the evocative call of the breeding curlews over the high moors in Summer there is so much to appreciate in this lovely upland area of Britain. If you have never visited us, it’s time to make the trip.
